1.

Close all active programs.

2.

Locate the installation file to use.

3.

Start the installation and follow the instructions.

 Do not start the PostSort program when the installation is complete.

4.

Change the user rights to Full for the folders below.    

64-bit Windows

a)C:\Program (x86)\Common Files\Borland Shared\BDE

b)C:\Program (x86)\PostSort\PsSort

32-bit Windows

a)C:\Program\Common Files\Borland Shared\BDE

b)C:\Program\PostSort\PsSort

If you are unsure how this is done; Question Your IT support.

5.

The first time the program must be started as Administrator.

a)Right-click on the program icon and select 'Run as administrator'.

b)Answer Yes/Ok to all the messages that appear on the screen.

c)PostSort will try to update the software, but will fail which is perfectly fine.

d)Close the program.

6.

Restart PostSort normally (not as administrator).

Now PostSort will complete the upgrade.

7.

Complete basic settings.

Press F1 for detailed instructions on settings and functionality.
