FAQ

Question.

PostSort says the addresses are invalid but the postcodes appear to be correct.

Answer.

Option 1

The specified country field contains an unknown country name.

Option 2

In the zip code there appears to be a space between the 3rd and 4th digit.

It could be that it is not a space but a character that only appears to be one.

To solve this problem, a character translation must be done.

1.

Start over from the beginning with import the file.

2.

In the Import-Start dialog box, click the Options button.

3.

Choose Modify.

4.

At the bottom left is a box where you see information about the selected character.

5.

Look for a character that on the line Hex: is called A0.

6.

Press the space bar when the character is highlighted to translate that character into a space. The display now says "SP".

7.

Click done.

If you use import templates, the template must be selected before doing the character translation!

Also remember to update the template before the import is completed.
