New import

New register
Load a new address file. If there are already loaded addresses, these will be deleted.

Build on registers (Active if a register is already loaded)

Merge address files by adding them to already loaded addresses.

Redefine invalid (Active only if there are invalid after sorting)

An invalid address may be due to the fact that the address does not have a postcode or that the postcode appears in another field.

If the postcode is in a different field, you can rename the fields and thus "move" the postcode.

Job file for reordering
Used when, for example, bundle sizes are too large or too small to be produced.

If parts of the job have already been produced, you can delete the addresses already printed before re-sorting.

Then specify the address from which the import should start.

If an interval must be specified, it can be done in the selection function after the job file has been loaded.

Create an empty register

Create an empty register for e.g. a product that only needs to be numbered.

When reading, PostSort must be informed about the address data in the register, the character set to be used, etc.

Loading can consist of several steps, depending on the file format.

When importing a dBase or Paradox table, the import will not display this dialog, but will proceed directly to Import-Complete.

When loading a .txt file, it is important that the file is saved with ANSI encoding, so that the ÅÄÖ is displayed correctly.

If the file is not ANSI encoded, the program will warn you of this when the file is loaded.
