PostSort Preparation helps to identify File Type, Character Set and Field Separator on import.

Make sure the correct file type is selected.

KCheck that the correct character set is selected.

In a file with fixed fields without line endings, you must specify where each address entry begins and ends in the record. 

Also check that all characters are displayed correctly.

Incorrect characters can be modified in the character table.
